One of the best loved characters of the Sussex Soul Scene, Paul (Bedders) Bedford, has just undergone a succesful operation to have a brain tumour removed.
One can only imagine the burden this has been for all his lovely wife, Julia, and two children Jamie and Steffi since Paul was first diagnosed with the condition nearly 2 years ago.
Paul and all the family are greatly indebted to all the team at Brighton's Royal Sussex County Hospital and now they'd like to celebrate Life and in the process raise funds on behalf of others suffering the same trauma.
We know that many, many more on the scene have had to face up to their own trials and health issues but at times like this The Soul Family tend to come together to offer support and an escape from the concerns that many have to bear.

'It'll be fun', Paul said when we decided on staging this event and that's EXACTLY what we're intending.
